A Post About A Post That Isn’t

With our ’16 Keystone 324CG, there are two clean-out ports under the rig requiring storing extra sewer hoses which we didn’t have to do before. But space is at a premium on this rig with only one area to store such items. This is our solution to the problem, which isn’t a fresh idea… but we chose to install it a little differently.  Please take a look at the installation in the Upgrades section!

A Bright Idea In The Garage

In this is Upgrade I add a shop-light in the garage with motion detection. It was pretty straight forward except for not finding the wall studs in the right location. Please take a look at the installation in the Upgrades section!

More Chill On The Cheap

In this upgrade I decide to use a mobile free-standing air conditioner I borrowed from my shop at home as a 2nd A/C for the RV this summer. Since I already own it, why not give it a try?

If it works it’s far less expensive than a roof mounted unit! But figuring out how to exhaust the hot air was a bit interesting. Please take a look at the installation in the Upgrades section!

Top Shelf In The Bedroom

The Un-Electric Slide

Keystone didn’t put any electrical outlets on the slide-out, which is pretty silly. So I decided to put two receptacles in myself. I’m not sure what this does for the warranty but I reaaaaally wanted power there. I bought a bunch of parts and did a pretty clean install I think. Plus, I have 2 USB ports at each receptacle that are 4 amps each. Saweeeet! Please take a look at the installation in the Upgrades section!
